The ELANTRA Hybrid takes all of the performance elements that have made this sedan popular with Clemson drivers for many years and enhances them with cost-saving efficiency. The addition of an electric motor and hybrid battery with regenerative braking provide an impressive 51/58 MPG city/hwy1. You’ll still have plenty of power for zipping around traffic with the 1.6L 4-cylinder engine that achieves 139 total system horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. Use the Drive Mode Select feature to go from Normal to Sport or Smart mode depending on your mood and let the multi-link independent rear suspension smooth out any bumps in the road. Hybrids are a great option for those who want lower emissions without having to plug in their vehicle for charging.
Advanced Technology
When it comes to viewing navigation, music, vehicle stats, and other important information, having larger display screens is crucial. That’s why the 2026 ELANTRA Hybrid comes available with two 10.25-inch high resolution screens that seamlessly blend together. The infotainment touchscreen display to the right hand side of the driver is where you can quickly access Apple or Android apps, complete with a split screen option. Behind the steering wheel towards the left hand side of the driver is where you’ll be able to customize vehicle details such as speed, drive mode, safety feature activation, and more. Another update from older ELANTRA models is the available wireless smartphone charging pad2 in the center console. And to help ensure you always have internet access on the go, Verizon Wi-Fi built-in HotSpot subscriptions3 are ready.
Trim Levels
There are three trim levels available for this iteration of the ELANTRA Hybrid so you can choose the right fit for your budget. Standard comfort features for the base Blue trim include cloth upholstery, a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The SEL trim includes technology upgrades, such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen and wireless smartphone charger mentioned above. The Limited trim features premium cabin details for an upscale feel, including H-Tex® leatherette upholstery, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, plus heated and ventilated front seats.
